तन्निमित्तमिदं वैरं रावणेन कृतं महत् ।
वधाय नीता सा सीता दशग्रीवेण रक्षसा ॥११॥

11. tannimittamidaṃ vairaṃ rāvaṇena kṛtaṃ mahat ,
vadhāya nītā sā sītā daśagrīveṇa rakṣasā.

11. On that very account, this great enmity was created by Rāvaṇa. Sītā was carried away by the ten-headed demon (Rāvaṇa) for (his own ultimate) destruction.
