वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-6, chapter-107, verse-34

कर्तव्यो न तु वैदेहि मन्युस्त्यागमिमं प्रति ।
रामेण त्वद्विशुद्ध्यर्थं कृतमेतद्धितैषिणा ॥३४॥
34. kartavyo na tu vaidehi manyustyāgamimaṃ prati ,
rāmeṇa tvadviśuddhyarthaṃ kṛtametaddhitaiṣiṇā.
34. kartavyaḥ na tu vaidehi manyuḥ tyāgam imam prati
rāmeṇa tvat-viśuddhi-artham kṛtam etat hitaiṣiṇā
34. vaidehi,
imam tyāgam prati manyuḥ na tu kartavyaḥ.
etat tvat-viśuddhi-artham hitaiṣiṇā rāmeṇa kṛtam.
34. But O Vaidehī, anger should not be felt regarding this abandonment. This was done by Rāma, your well-wisher, for the sake of your purification.
