वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-5, chapter-32, verse-21

नाहं स्वप्नमिमं मन्ये स्वप्ने दृष्ट्वा हि वानरम् ।
न शक्यो ऽभ्युदयः प्राप्तुं प्राप्तश्चाभ्युदयो मम ॥२१॥
21. nāhaṃ svapnamimaṃ manye svapne dṛṣṭvā hi vānaram ,
na śakyo'bhyudayaḥ prāptuṃ prāptaścābhyudayo mama.
21. na aham svapnam imam manye svapne dṛṣṭvā hi vānaram na
śakyaḥ abhyudayaḥ prāptum prāptaḥ ca abhyudayaḥ mama
21. aham imam svapnam na manye,
hi svapne vānaram dṛṣṭvā abhyudayaḥ prāptum na śakyaḥ,
ca mama abhyudayaḥ prāptaḥ.
21. I do not consider this a dream, for it is impossible to attain prosperity after seeing a monkey in a dream, yet prosperity has been attained by me.
