वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-5, chapter-20, verse-12

ताभिराश्वासिता सीता रावणं राक्षसाधिपम् ।
उवाचात्महितं वाक्यं वृत्तशौण्डीर्यगर्वितम् ॥१२॥
12. tābhirāśvāsitā sītā rāvaṇaṃ rākṣasādhipam ,
uvācātmahitaṃ vākyaṃ vṛttaśauṇḍīryagarvitam.
12. tābhiḥ āśvāsitā sītā rāvaṇam rākṣasādhipam
uvāca ātmahitam vākyam vṛttaśauṇḍīryagarvitam
12. Comforted by them, Sītā spoke to Rāvaṇa, the lord of the rākṣasas, words beneficial to her own welfare and imbued with pride in her noble character.
