वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-4, chapter-17, verse-35

चर्म चास्थि च मे राजन्न स्पृशन्ति मनीषिणः ।
अभक्ष्याणि च मांसानि सो ऽहं पञ्चनखो हतः ॥३५॥
35. carma cāsthi ca me rājanna spṛśanti manīṣiṇaḥ ,
abhakṣyāṇi ca māṃsāni so'haṃ pañcanakho hataḥ.

abhakṣyāṇi ca māṃsāni saḥ aham pañcanakhaḥ hataḥ

35. O King, wise people do not touch my skin or bone, and my flesh is inedible. I am that five-nailed animal who was killed.
