वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-4, chapter-17, verse-17

न मामन्येन संरब्धं प्रमत्तं वेद्धुमर्हसि ।
इति मे बुद्धिरुत्पन्ना बभूवादर्शने तव ॥१७॥
17. na māmanyena saṃrabdhaṃ pramattaṃ veddhumarhasi ,
iti me buddhirutpannā babhūvādarśane tava.
17. na mām anyena saṃrabdham pramattam veddhum arhasi
iti me buddhiḥ utpannā babhūva adarśane tava

anyena saṃrabdham pramattam mām na veddhum arhasi iti me buddhiḥ utpannā babhūva
17. You should not strike me, who is provoked by another and unaware. This was the thought that arose in my mind when you were not visible.
