वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-4, chapter-17, verse-10

आदित्यमिव कालेन युगान्ते भुवि पातितम् ।
महेन्द्रमिव दुर्धर्षं महेन्द्रमिव दुःसहम् ॥१०॥
