वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-3, chapter-49, verse-14

वरं त्रिवेणुसंपन्नं कामगं पावकार्चिषम् ।
मणिहेमविचित्राङ्गं बभञ्ज च महारथम् ।
पूर्णचन्द्रप्रतीकाशं छत्रं च व्यजनैः सह ॥१४॥
14. varaṃ triveṇusaṃpannaṃ kāmagaṃ pāvakārciṣam ,
maṇihemavicitrāṅgaṃ babhañja ca mahāratham ,
pūrṇacandrapratīkāśaṃ chatraṃ ca vyajanaiḥ saha.
14. वरम् त्रिवेणुसंपन्नम् कामगम् पावकार्चिषम् मणिहेमविचित्राङ्गम्
बभञ्ज च महारथम् पूर्णचन्द्रप्रतीकाशम् छत्रम् च व्यजनैः सह
14. च सः वरम् त्रिवेणुसंपन्नम् कामगम् पावकार्चिषम् मणिहेमविचित्राङ्गम् महारथम् बभञ्ज च पूर्णचन्द्रप्रतीकाशम् छत्रम् व्यजनैः सह (बभञ्ज) ।
14. And he (Jaṭāyu) shattered the magnificent great chariot, which was equipped with three poles, moved at will, glowed with fire-like splendor, and had its parts wonderfully adorned with jewels and gold. He also broke the umbrella, which resembled the full moon, along with its fans.
