वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-3, chapter-49, verse-1

इत्युक्तस्य यथान्यायं रावणस्य जटायुषा ।
क्रुद्धस्याग्निनिभाः सर्वा रेजुर्विंशतिदृष्टयः ॥१॥
1. ityuktasya yathānyāyaṃ rāvaṇasya jaṭāyuṣā ,
kruddhasyāgninibhāḥ sarvā rejurviṃśatidṛṣṭayaḥ.
1. iti uktasya yathānyāyam rāvaṇasya jaṭāyuṣā
kruddhasya agninibhāḥ sarvāḥ rejuḥ viṃśatidṛṣṭayaḥ
1. jāṭayuṣā rāvaṇasya yathānyāyam iti uktasya

1. When Jaṭāyu thus spoke properly to Rāvaṇa, all twenty of the enraged Rāvaṇa's eyes, resembling fire, shone brightly.
