मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-78, verse-24

रेतसोऽन्ते च रेवन्तः खड्गी चर्मो तनुत्रधृक् ।
अश्वारूढः समुद्भूतो बाणतूणसमन्वितः ॥२४॥
24. retaso'nte ca revantaḥ khaḍgī carmo tanutradhṛk .
aśvārūḍhaḥ samudbhūto bāṇatūṇasamanvitaḥ.
24. retasaḥ ante ca revantaḥ khaḍgī carmī tanutradhṛk
aśvārūḍhaḥ samudbhūtaḥ bāṇatūṇasamanvitaḥ
24. And from the seminal discharge, Revanta was born, wielding a sword, carrying a shield, and wearing armor. He appeared mounted on a horse, equipped with arrows and quivers.
