यत्तस्य ऋङ्मयं तेजो भविता तेन मेदिनी ।
यजुर्मयेनापि दिवं स्वर्गः साममयं रवेः ॥१६॥

16. yattasya ṛṅmayaṃ tejo bhavitā tena medinī .
yajurmayenāpi divaṃ svargaḥ sāmamayaṃ raveḥ.

yat tasya ṛṅmayam tejaḥ bhavitā tena medinī

Whatever part of his brilliance (tejas) was of the nature of the Ṛg Veda, by that the earth (medinī) will come into being. And by the part of the nature of the Yajur Veda, heaven (divam) and the celestial abode (svarga) will manifest. The part of the nature of the Sāma Veda will belong to the sun.
