क्रियते त्वत्करैः स्पर्शाज्जलादीनां पवित्रता ।

Purity for water and other elements is brought about by the touch of Your hands/rays. Religious duties (dharma) like fire sacrifices (hōma) and giving gifts (dāna) do not yield any benefit.
