देवा ऊचुः ।
नमस्ते ऋक्स्वरूपाय सामरूपाय ते नमः ।
यजुः स्वरूपरूपाय साम्नान्धामवते नमः ॥२॥

2. devā ūcuḥ .
namaste ṛksvarūpāya sāmarūpāya te namaḥ .
yajuḥ svarūparūpāya sāmnāndhāmavate namaḥ.

2. devāḥ ūcuḥ namaḥ te ṛksvarūpāya sāmarūpāya te
namaḥ yajuḥ svarūparūpāya sāmnām dhāmavate namaḥ

2. The gods said: Salutations to You, whose essence (svarūpa) is the Ṛg Veda, and salutations to You, whose form (rūpa) is the Sāma Veda. Salutations to the one whose very form (rūpa) is the Yajur Veda, and salutations to the one who is the abode (dhāman) of the Sāma chants.
