जामातरं तथा शिष्यं घातयिष्ये नरेश्वरम् ।
तस्मान्न पार्थं यास्यामि नापि दुर्योधनं नृपम् ॥३॥

3. jāmātaraṃ tathā śiṣyaṃ ghātayiṣye nareśvaram .
tasmānna pārthaṃ yāsyāmi nāpi duryodhanaṃ nṛpam.

"How can I bring about the demise of my son-in-law and my disciple, the lord of men? Therefore, I will neither go to Arjuna nor to King Duryodhana."
