मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-125, verse-13

कृतोद्योगो यदा सोऽभूत्खड्गकार्मुककर्मणि ।
अन्येषु च तथा वीरः शस्त्रेषु विजितश्रमः ॥१३॥
13. kṛtodyogo yadā so'bhūtkhaḍgakārmukakarmaṇi .
anyeṣu ca tathā vīraḥ śastreṣu vijitaśramaḥ.
13. kṛtodyogaḥ yadā saḥ abhūt khaḍgakārmukakarmaṇi
anyeṣu ca tathā vīraḥ śastreṣu vijitaśramaḥ
13. When he became diligent in the use of swords and bows, this hero (vīra) similarly became proficient in other weapons as well, having overcome all exertion.
