ततः पुरे महानासीदानन्दः पौरवेश्मसु ।
अस्माकं सन्ततिर्जाता नाथस्येति महामुने ॥८॥

Then, O great sage, there was immense joy in the houses of the citizens throughout the city, as they [celebrated that] 'Our lord's offspring has been born!'
