मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-125, verse-9

हृष्टपुष्टे पुरे तस्मिन्गीतवाद्यैर्वराङ्गनाः ।
विलासिन्योऽतिचार्वङ्ग्यो ननृतुर्लास्यमुत्तमम् ॥९॥
9. hṛṣṭapuṣṭe pure tasmingītavādyairvarāṅganāḥ .
vilāsinyo'ticārvaṅgyo nanṛturlāsyamuttamam.
9. hṛṣṭapuṣṭe pure tasmin gītavādyaiḥ varāṅganāḥ
vilāsinyaḥ aticārvagyaḥ nanṛtuḥ lāsyam uttamam
9. In that joyful and well-nourished city, beautiful women, graceful and exceedingly charming in form, performed a superb, graceful dance accompanied by songs and musical instruments.
