मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-125, verse-35

सास्य पत्नी तदा वीरा वर्षाणामपरं शतम् ।
तपश्चचार विप्रर्षे जटिलामलपङ्किनी ॥३५॥
35. sāsya patnī tadā vīrā varṣāṇāmaparaṃ śatam .
tapaścacāra viprarṣe jaṭilāmalapaṅkinī.

35. O sage among brahmins, his wife Vīrā then performed austerity (tapas) for another hundred years, characterized by matted hair, inner purity, and a body covered in mud.
