आचार्याणां सकाशात्स प्राग्वेदाञ्जगृहे मुने ।
ततः शास्त्राण्यशेषाणि धनुर्वेदं ततः परम् ॥१२॥

12. ācāryāṇāṃ sakāśātsa prāgvedāñjagṛhe mune .

O sage, first he learned the Vedas from his teachers. Subsequently, he mastered all the other treatises and, following that, the Dhanurveda (science of archery).
