राजा करन्धमश्चापि वीरामादाय तां तथा ।
वनं जगाम तपसे यतवाक्कायमानसः ॥३३॥

33. rājā karandhamaścāpi vīrāmādāya tāṃ tathā .

rājā karandhamaḥ ca api vīrām ādāya tām tathā
vanam jagāma tapase yata-vāk-kāya-mānasaḥ

And King Karandhama, having taken that heroic woman with him, went to the forest in that manner for performing austerity (tapas), having controlled his speech, body, and mind.
