स परिष्वज्य तं पौत्रमानन्दास्राविलेक्षणः ।
स भाग्योऽस्मीत्यथात्मानं प्रशशंस पुनः पुनः ॥६॥

6. sa pariṣvajya taṃ pautramānandāsrāvilekṣaṇaḥ .

With eyes moist from tears of joy, he (the elder) embraced that grandson. Then he repeatedly praised his own self (ātman), saying, 'I am indeed fortunate.'
