मार्कण्डेय उवाच ।
ततः स राजपुत्रस्तमादाय दयितं सुतम् ।
पत्नीं चानुगतो विप्र गन्धर्वैराययौ पुरम् ॥१॥

Mārkaṇḍeya said: "O Brahmin, thereafter, that prince, taking his beloved son and accompanied by his wife, returned to the city along with the Gandharvas."
