मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-124, verse-8

बालभावेन योऽगस्त्यः कोपितः क्रीडमानया ।
ततस्तेन तदा शप्ता मानुषी त्वं भविष्यसि ॥८॥
8. bālabhāvena yo'gastyaḥ kopitaḥ krīḍamānayā .
tatastena tadā śaptā mānuṣī tvaṃ bhaviṣyasi.

tataḥ tena tadā śaptā mānuṣī tvam bhaviṣyasi
8. "Agastya, who was angered by her playing in a childish manner, then cursed her at that time, saying, 'You will be a human woman.'"
