बालेति मत्वा शापोऽल्पो दत्तोऽस्या नान्यथैव तत् ॥१०॥

The great sage (mahāmuni), being propitiated by us, said this: 'Considering her a mere child, a light curse was given to her; it cannot be otherwise.'
