मार्कण्डेय उवाच ।
तथेत्युक्त्वेति तस्याश्च स पाणिं पार्थिवात्मजः ।
जग्राह विधिवद्धोमं चक्रे तत्र च तुम्बुरुः ॥१३॥

13. mārkaṇḍeya uvāca .
tathetyuktveti tasyāśca sa pāṇiṃ pārthivātmajaḥ .
jagrāha vidhivaddhomaṃ cakre tatra ca tumburuḥ.

Mārkaṇḍeya said: Having assented, the king's son took her hand according to the prescribed rites. And Tumburu, there, performed the ritual oblation (homa).
