समासाद्य रणे शूरं प्रतिविन्ध्यं महाप्रभा ।
निर्भिद्य दक्षिणं बाहुं निपपात महीतले ।
पतिताभासयच्चैव तं देशमशनिर्यथा ॥२७॥

27. samāsādya raṇe śūraṁ prativindhyaṁ mahāprabhā ,
nirbhidya dakṣiṇaṁ bāhuṁ nipapāta mahītale ,
patitābhāsayaccaiva taṁ deśamaśaniryathā.

27. Having confronted the heroic Prativindhya in battle and having pierced his right arm, the greatly resplendent one (feminine) fell to the ground. And having fallen, she illuminated that spot just like a lightning bolt.
