महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-7, chapter-93, verse-28

ततो द्रोणस्य यन्तारं निपात्यैकेषुणा भुवि ।
अश्वान्व्यद्रावयद्बाणैर्हतसूतान्महात्मनः ॥२८॥
28. tato droṇasya yantāraṁ nipātyaikeṣuṇā bhuvi ,
aśvānvyadrāvayadbāṇairhatasūtānmahātmanaḥ.

aśvān vyadrāvayat bāṇaiḥ hatasūtān mahātmanaḥ
28. tataḥ ekeṣuṇā bhuvi droṇasya yantāram nipātya
bāṇaiḥ mahātmanaḥ hatasūtān aśvān vyadrāvayat
28. Then, with a single arrow, he struck down Droṇa's charioteer onto the ground. After that, he scattered the horses of the great soul (mahātman) Droṇa, whose driver had been slain, by showering them with arrows.
