महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-7, chapter-93, verse-20

अनासाद्य तु शैनेयं सा शक्तिः कालसंनिभा ।
भित्त्वा रथं जगामोग्रा धरणीं दारुणस्वना ॥२०॥
20. anāsādya tu śaineyaṁ sā śaktiḥ kālasaṁnibhā ,
bhittvā rathaṁ jagāmogrā dharaṇīṁ dāruṇasvanā.

bhittvā rathaṃ jagāma ugrā dharaṇīṃ dāruṇasvanā
20. sā kālasaṃnibhā ugrā dāruṇasvanā śaktiḥ śaineyaṃ

20. But that terrible spear (śakti), resembling the very essence of time (kāla), having missed Shaineya, pierced the chariot and, with a dreadful sound, went into the earth.
