12. sātyakistu tato droṇaṁ navabhirnataparvabhiḥ ,
ājaghāna bhṛśaṁ kruddho dhvajaṁ ca niśitaiḥ śaraiḥ ,
sārathiṁ ca śatenaiva bhāradvājasya paśyataḥ.

Then, greatly enraged, Satyaki struck Droṇa intensely with nine well-fitted arrows. As Droṇa (Bhāradvāja) watched, Satyaki also struck his banner with sharp arrows and his charioteer with a hundred arrows.
