महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-7, chapter-66, verse-5

अश्वत्थामा यथा तात रक्षणीयस्तवानघ ।
तथाहमपि ते रक्ष्यः सदैव द्विजसत्तम ॥५॥
5. aśvatthāmā yathā tāta rakṣaṇīyastavānagha ,
tathāhamapi te rakṣyaḥ sadaiva dvijasattama.
