महाभारतः mahābhārataḥ - book-7, chapter-18, verse-26

शिरांसि भल्लैरहरद्बाहूनपि च सायुधान् ।
हस्तिहस्तोपमांश्चोरूञ्शरैरुर्व्यामपातयत् ॥२६॥

26. He severed heads with spears and also arms that held weapons. With arrows, he struck down thighs, which resembled elephant trunks, onto the earth.
