महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-7, chapter-18, verse-15

ततः शरसहस्राणि तैर्विमुक्तानि भस्मसात् ।
कृत्वा तदस्त्रं तान्वीराननयद्यमसादनम् ॥१५॥
15. tataḥ śarasahasrāṇi tairvimuktāni bhasmasāt ,
kṛtvā tadastraṁ tānvīrānanayadyamasādanam.

kṛtvā tat astram tān vīrān anayat yamasādanam

15. Then, having reduced that (supreme) weapon to ashes, the thousands of arrows released by them sent those warriors to the abode of Yama.
