महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-7, chapter-107, verse-2

संजय उवाच ।
भीमसेनं रणे दृष्ट्वा ज्वलन्तमिव पावकम् ।
रथमन्यं समास्थाय विधिवत्कल्पितं पुनः ।
अभ्ययात्पाण्डवं कर्णो वातोद्धूत इवार्णवः ॥२॥
2. saṁjaya uvāca ,
bhīmasenaṁ raṇe dṛṣṭvā jvalantamiva pāvakam ,
rathamanyaṁ samāsthāya vidhivatkalpitaṁ punaḥ ,
abhyayātpāṇḍavaṁ karṇo vātoddhūta ivārṇavaḥ.
2. sañjaya uvāca bhīmasenam raṇe dṛṣṭvā
jvalantam iva pāvakam ratham anyam
samāsthāya vidhivat kalpitam punaḥ abhyayāt
pāṇḍavam karṇaḥ vātoddhūtaḥ iva arṇavaḥ

jvalantam bhīmasenam dṛṣṭvā punaḥ vidhivat
kalpitam anyam ratham samāsthāya
vātoddhūtaḥ arṇavaḥ iva pāṇḍavam abhyayāt
2. Sanjaya said: "Having seen Bhimasena blazing like fire in battle, Karṇa, having again mounted another chariot that was duly prepared, approached the Pāṇḍava, like an ocean agitated by the wind."
