महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-6, chapter-17, verse-5

अहन्यहनि पार्थानां वृद्धः कुरुपितामहः ।
भरद्वाजात्मजश्चैव प्रातरुत्थाय संयतौ ॥५॥
5. ahanyahani pārthānāṁ vṛddhaḥ kurupitāmahaḥ ,
bharadvājātmajaścaiva prātarutthāya saṁyatau.

5. Day after day, both the venerable grandfather of the Kurus (Bhīṣma) and the son of Bharadvāja (Droṇa), having risen in the morning, restrained themselves for the sake of the Pārthas.
