महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-6, chapter-17, verse-13

स तु वैकर्तनः कर्णः सामात्यः सह बन्धुभिः ।
न्यासितः समरे शस्त्रं भीष्मेण भरतर्षभ ॥१३॥
13. sa tu vaikartanaḥ karṇaḥ sāmātyaḥ saha bandhubhiḥ ,
nyāsitaḥ samare śastraṁ bhīṣmeṇa bharatarṣabha.

13. O best of Bharatas, that Karna, the son of Vikartana, along with his ministers and kinsmen, had his weapons laid down in battle by Bhishma.
