महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-5, chapter-8, verse-14

स तथा शल्यमामन्त्र्य पुनरायात्स्वकं पुरम् ।
शल्यो जगाम कौन्तेयानाख्यातुं कर्म तस्य तत् ॥१४॥
14. sa tathā śalyamāmantrya punarāyātsvakaṁ puram ,
śalyo jagāma kaunteyānākhyātuṁ karma tasya tat.

14. Having thus bid farewell to Śalya, he (Duryodhana) returned to his own city. Śalya, however, went to the sons of Kuntī (Pāṇḍavas) to inform them of that action (karma) of his.
