महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-5, chapter-43, verse-9

एकैकमेते राजेन्द्र मनुष्यान्पर्युपासते ।
लिप्समानोऽन्तरं तेषां मृगाणामिव लुब्धकः ॥९॥
9. ekaikamete rājendra manuṣyānparyupāsate ,
lipsamāno'ntaraṁ teṣāṁ mṛgāṇāmiva lubdhakaḥ.

lipsamānaḥ antaram teṣām mṛgāṇām iva lubdhakaḥ
9. O King of Kings (rājendra), these (faults) attend upon humans one by one, just as a hunter (lubdhaka) seeks an opportunity among deer (mṛga).
