महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-5, chapter-103, verse-35

प्रत्यक्षो ह्यस्य सर्वस्य नारदोऽयं महातपाः ।
माहात्म्यं यत्तदा विष्णोर्योऽयं चक्रगदाधरः ॥३५॥
35. pratyakṣo hyasya sarvasya nārado'yaṁ mahātapāḥ ,
māhātmyaṁ yattadā viṣṇoryo'yaṁ cakragadādharaḥ.
35. pratyakṣaḥ hi asya sarvasya nāradaḥ ayam mahātapāḥ
māhātmyam yat tadā viṣṇoḥ yaḥ ayam cakragadādharaḥ
35. This Narada, who is of great austerity (tapas), is indeed a direct witness to all of this—to that greatness (māhātmya) of Vishnu, who is none other than this one, the wielder of the discus and mace.
