गरुत्मन्मन्यसेऽऽत्मानं बलवन्तं सुदुर्बलम् ।
अलमस्मत्समक्षं ते स्तोतुमात्मानमण्डज ॥१९॥
19. garutmanmanyase''tmānaṁ balavantaṁ sudurbalam ,
alamasmatsamakṣaṁ te stotumātmānamaṇḍaja.

alam asmat-samakṣam te stotum ātmanam aṇḍaja
19. O Garuḍa (garutman)! You consider your (ātman) powerful, [yet in truth you are] very weak. Cease praising your (ātman) in my presence, O egg-born one (aṇḍaja)!
