महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-5, chapter-103, verse-3

गरुड उवाच ।
भगवन्किमवज्ञानात्क्षुधां प्रति भये मम ।
कामकारवरं दत्त्वा पुनश्चलितवानसि ॥३॥
3. garuḍa uvāca ,
bhagavankimavajñānātkṣudhāṁ prati bhaye mama ,
kāmakāravaraṁ dattvā punaścalitavānasi.
3. garuḍaḥ uvāca bhagavan kim avajñānāt kṣudhām prati
bhaye mama kāmakāravaram dattvā punaḥ calitavān asi
3. Garuda said, "O Lord, after granting me the boon (vara) to act as I please, why have you changed your mind again? Is it due to disrespect, or because of my fear concerning hunger?"
