महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-5, chapter-103, verse-24

न त्वेनं पीडयामास बलेन बलवत्तरः ।
ततो हि जीवितं तस्य न व्यनीनशदच्युतः ॥२४॥
24. na tvenaṁ pīḍayāmāsa balena balavattaraḥ ,
tato hi jīvitaṁ tasya na vyanīnaśadacyutaḥ.
24. na tu enam pīḍayāmāsa balena balavattaraḥ
tataḥ hi jīvitam tasya na vyānīnaśat acyutaḥ
24. However, Acyuta (Viṣṇu), who was vastly stronger, did not torment him with force. For that reason, Acyuta did not destroy his life.
