महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-4, chapter-67, verse-7

अभिषङ्गादहं भीतो मिथ्याचारात्परंतप ।
स्नुषार्थमुत्तरां राजन्प्रतिगृह्णामि ते सुताम् ॥७॥
7. abhiṣaṅgādahaṁ bhīto mithyācārātparaṁtapa ,
snuṣārthamuttarāṁ rājanpratigṛhṇāmi te sutām.
7. abhiṣaṅgāt aham bhītaḥ mithyācārāt paraṃtapa
snuṣārtham uttarām rājan pratigṛhṇāmi te sutām
7. O scorcher of foes, I am afraid of disgrace (abhiṣaṅga) arising from improper conduct (mithyācāra). O King, I accept your daughter Uttara for the purpose of a daughter-in-law.
