वैशंपायन उवाच ।
एवं ब्रुवति राजेन्द्रे कुन्तीपुत्रो युधिष्ठिरः ।
अन्वजानात्स संयोगं समये मत्स्यपार्थयोः ॥१२॥

12. vaiśaṁpāyana uvāca ,
evaṁ bruvati rājendre kuntīputro yudhiṣṭhiraḥ ,
anvajānātsa saṁyogaṁ samaye matsyapārthayoḥ.

12. Vaiśampāyana said: As the king of kings (rājendra) spoke thus, Yudhiṣṭhira, the son of Kuntī, consented to that alliance (saṃyoga) regarding Matsya (King Virāṭa) and Arjuna (Pārtha).
