महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-37, verse-9

राजानः पार्थिवाश्चैव येऽस्माभिरुपतापिताः ।
संश्रिताः कौरवं पक्षं जातस्नेहाश्च सांप्रतम् ॥९॥
9. rājānaḥ pārthivāścaiva ye'smābhirupatāpitāḥ ,
saṁśritāḥ kauravaṁ pakṣaṁ jātasnehāśca sāṁpratam.

saṃśritāḥ kauravam pakṣam jātasnehāḥ ca sāmpratam
9. The kings and earthly rulers whom we harassed have now sought refuge with the Kuru side, and indeed, they have presently developed affection for them.
