ब्राह्मण उवाच ।
अहं तात सहस्रांशुः सौहृदात्त्वां निदर्शये ।
कुरुष्वैतद्वचो मे त्वमेतच्छ्रेयः परं हि ते ॥२२॥

22. brāhmaṇa uvāca ,
ahaṁ tāta sahasrāṁśuḥ sauhṛdāttvāṁ nidarśaye ,
kuruṣvaitadvaco me tvametacchreyaḥ paraṁ hi te.

The Brahmin said: "Dear son, I am Sahasrāmśu (the Sun), and I am instructing you out of goodwill. Please follow this advice of mine, for it is indeed the supreme good for you."
