महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-284, verse-13

त्वं हि तात ददास्येव ब्राह्मणेभ्यः प्रयाचितः ।
वित्तं यच्चान्यदप्याहुर्न प्रत्याख्यासि कर्हिचित् ॥१३॥
13. tvaṁ hi tāta dadāsyeva brāhmaṇebhyaḥ prayācitaḥ ,
vittaṁ yaccānyadapyāhurna pratyākhyāsi karhicit.
13. tvam hi tāta dadāsi eva brāhmaṇebhyaḥ prayācitaḥ
vittam yat ca anyat api āhuḥ na pratyākhyāsi karhicit
13. Indeed, my dear one, you certainly give wealth (vitta) to Brahmins who petition you, and you never refuse anything else they ask for.
