महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-284, verse-10

कर्ण मद्वचनं तात शृणु सत्यभृतां वर ।
ब्रुवतोऽद्य महाबाहो सौहृदात्परमं हितम् ॥१०॥
10. karṇa madvacanaṁ tāta śṛṇu satyabhṛtāṁ vara ,
bruvato'dya mahābāho sauhṛdātparamaṁ hitam.
10. karṇa mat-vacanam tāta śṛṇu satyabhṛtām vara
bruvataḥ adya mahābāho sauhṛdāt paramam hitam
10. O Karṇa, my dear one, O best among truth-speakers, O mighty-armed one, listen to my words today, which I speak out of friendship for your supreme benefit.
