महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-246, verse-14

स्वागतं तेऽस्त्विति मुनिं मुद्गलः प्रत्यभाषत ।
पाद्यमाचमनीयं च प्रतिवेद्यान्नमुत्तमम् ॥१४॥
14. svāgataṁ te'stviti muniṁ mudgalaḥ pratyabhāṣata ,
pādyamācamanīyaṁ ca prativedyānnamuttamam.
14. svāgataṃ te astu iti munim mudgalaḥ pratyabhāṣata
pādyaṃ ācamanīyaṃ ca prativedya annaṃ uttamam
14. Mudgala replied to the sage, saying, 'Welcome to you!' And having offered water for the feet and water for sipping, he presented excellent food.
