महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-160, verse-25

अस्तं प्राप्य ततः संध्यामतिक्रम्य दिवाकरः ।
उदीचीं भजते काष्ठां दिशमेष विभावसुः ॥२५॥
25. astaṁ prāpya tataḥ saṁdhyāmatikramya divākaraḥ ,
udīcīṁ bhajate kāṣṭhāṁ diśameṣa vibhāvasuḥ.
25. astam prāpya tataḥ sandhyām atikramya divākaraḥ
udīcīm bhajate kāṣṭhām diśam eṣaḥ vibhāvasuḥ
25. Having reached the western horizon and then passed the evening twilight, this Sun (Divākara) approaches the northern quarter, the northern region.
