महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-2, chapter-66, verse-33

स्मरन्तं त्वामाजमीढ स्मारयिष्याम्यहं पुनः ।
शास्त्रं न शास्ति दुर्बुद्धिं श्रेयसे वेतराय वा ॥३३॥
33. smarantaṁ tvāmājamīḍha smārayiṣyāmyahaṁ punaḥ ,
śāstraṁ na śāsti durbuddhiṁ śreyase vetarāya vā.
33. smarantam tvām ājamīḍha smārayiṣyāmi aham punaḥ
śāstram na śāsti durbuddhim śreyase vā itarāya vā
33. O Ājamīḍha, though you are remembering (what I said), I will remind you again. Scripture (śāstra) does not instruct a person with a foolish mind for their well-being (śreyas) or for anything else (its opposite).
